A drop-whatever-you-are-doing art rec!

This piece of fanart I am about to rec is, no kidding, the most beautiful piece of fanart I have ever seen. Ever. By anyone. I have had it open in a tab all day and I keep going back to stare at it some more. I think I'm in love.

How I Learned to Love Quidditch, by [info]fanlay (Percy/Oliver, R)

I'm horrible at being able to say what I love about art--other commenters say intelligent things like "I love how you used violet shades here" or "I really like the direction of your light" but I just kind of squee and stare and want to have the artist's internet babies but am never quite certain how to tell them that. But I was so overwhelmed by the beauty and the love and the color and the shape and the everything of this picture that I actually managed to comment on art for once, and I can't believe I have never seen [info]fanlay's work before, because, my god, it's breathtaking.

Drabble meme! (Yes, again!)

1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays.
You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble
You start when the song starts, and stop when it's over. No lingering afterwards!
4. Do ten of these, then post them.

1. A Little Help From My Friends, Joe Cocker

I get by (Percy, Oliver, G) )

2. Chick Habit, April March

It's not a trick, pay attention (Bill/Fleur, G) )

3. Mexico, James Taylor

I've never really been so I don't really know (Percy/Neville, G) )

4. The Only Living Boy in New York, Paul Simon

Here I am (Percy, G) )

5. Ana Ng, They Might Be Giants

[A common name] Percy, Oliver, G) )

6. Walkin' After Midnight, Patsy Cline

Searching for you (Percy, George, PG) )

7. Eddie Walker, Ben Folds Five

Won't you smile? You look so shocked. (Arthur, G) )

8. Wild Wild Life, Talking Heads

Tickling my fancy (Fred/George, R) )

9. Watching the Wheels, John Lennon

People say I'm crazy (Charlie, G) )

10. If I Were Gay, Stephen Lynch

I just don't see myself in you (Percy/Neville, PG) )
