I saved Latin.

So, this video is awesome. It's allegedly the "best 100 movie lines in 200 seconds". Now, it was clearly made by a young male, so it's biased (no "Attica!", no "She turned me into a newt!", no "Is it safe?", no "Soylent Green is people!", no "Meet me in Montauk", and nothing at all from Woody Allen) but it's still entertaining, which I think it the point.



But I cannot for the life of me figure out which movies a few of the quotes are from--specifically numbers 2, 12 (and this one's making me crazy because I know I know it Okay, apparently not...), 27, 28, 34, 91, 93, and 97 (I can't even catch what they say in this one). Gah, and I call myself a move fan. Any guesses from better movie fans than myself?

So, I've watched the Sweeney Todd trailers, and you're all going to have to excuse me while I go cry in the corner, then rock back and forth and mutter to myself at the apparent raping of one of my most favorite works ever.

I'm not one of those nit-picky people who finds something wrong with every translation of book or play or musical to screen. I go, and I enjoy, usually, and I realize that they have to cut a lot out, and I'm a little sad sometimes on what exactly they cut out, but I deal.

BUT. Oh god. My Sweeney Todd. I fear I am taking this far too personally.
