It's called Counting Shadows in the Dead of Night, Remus/Harry and Teddy/James Jr, very very NC-17, and as I said in my comment to the mystery author, this is one of those amazing rare fics that hooks you in right away and doesn't let you go, doesn't even let you breathe until it's all over. It's a bit on the dark side and the author manipulates that so well, alternating with family scenes in which James and Albus Severus are so vividly drawn that you really really do care about them as characters; they are as real as any teenager in any house anywhere. I'm basically speechless after reading this and I cannot wait to find out who wrote it. (I have a guess, but we'll see...)

I can't possibly rec this story strongly enough! Run, don't walk! And do try to breathe while you are reading it, though it won't be easy.
