Recs, omg.

Two recs for your perverse Sunday enjoyment.

First, everyone must go read the pervtastic History Boys teenyfic that [info]celandineb wrote for me yesterday. It's Roundabouts (Dakin/Irwin, Quite Porny) and, damn, even if you're not familiar with the fandom, I should think this would be intriguing to you. Hot schoolboy roleplay with paddling and role-reversal...what's not to love? ♥

Second, though I know you probably already saw it on your flist and went O_o, [info]florahart wrote Primrose Path. Now. This is a fandom based on, oh, 45 seconds of canon. Which would be the fake trailer for the fake movie Satan's Alley which precedes the movie Tropic Thunder. And while it does list Tobey Maguire as a character, it's very much not RPS, because otherwise this RPS-hater would not have touched it with a ten-foot pole, and, people, I betaed it. So, in conclusion: Fake-RPS, monk sex, blowjobs in a bathroom, mild insanity, and, hell, it's by Flora. You know that means it's fantastic.

Go! Read! Give love and feedback!

CAPSLOCK OF DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM

Okay, SO. I have not had internet access for NEARLY FORTY-EIGHT HOURS. My MODEM DIED. This is NOT OKAY. But now the modem is FIXED THIS IS UNTRUE I ACTUALLY HAVE AN ENTIRELY NEW MODEM and i have the internet BACK and I am so happy that I am CAPSLOCKING. Hooray interwebs, hooray!

And it's funny; I haven't been reading much fic lately at all but either everyone decided to post awesome fic while I was offline, or else they've been posting awesome fic all along and I just have missed it all, or else, hmm, a third option which I have not yet decided upon. ANYWAY. I have been devouring fic like a madwoman tonight and HERE ARE SOME RECS. CAPSLOCKY RECS. BECAUSE I CAN. BECAUSE I. HAVE. INTERNETS.

CAPSLOCKY REC ONE. life in the subjunctive case (Harry/Ron, R, by anonymous over at [info]hp_springsmut. This is not a pairing I read a lot but something compelled me to click on this and I am so glad I did because the style of it is what makes this piece, all disjointed in the most perfect, stream-of-consciousness way, and the boys are lovely here, and so sort of sad and confused and oh. Post-war fic where they're a bit messed up and trying to cope is so wonderful and this, this just works in that beautiful wonderful perfect way.

CAPSLOCKY REC TWO. Something Borrowed (Charlie/Teddy (past Charlie/Remus and Charlie/Tonks), NC-17, by [info]snegurochka_lee. This is actually more NC-17 than anything ever was NC-17. NC-anything. Um. Totally unreadable if you are going to need to function normally in the next twenty-four hours. Yes. That should cover it. Um. I kind of wish Charlie could come and be my lewd, pervy, swearing, smoking, cock-taking, cock-giving, winking, leering uncle after reading this. No wait, I definitely wish that. This is the hottest thing anyone has ever written in the history of Ever. Also the most perverted. ILU, Lee. So much.

CAPSLOCKY REC THREE. Commitment (Dakin/Irwin, G, by [info]celandineb. This makes me so happy because domesticity gives me this stupid 1950's housewifely thrill that the postmodern feminist in me has to roll her eyes at but god this is lovely! They are househunting and putting down carpets and things and the best part, the best part? Is that this totally corresponds with Cel's awesome Yuletide fic (which I need to go find the link for so I can put it here) and it made me grin like a grinning thing. Also the insinuation at the end, YES PLEASE.

CAPSLOCKY REC FOUR. Malfunction (Percy/Kingsley, NC-17, by [info]westwardlee on LJ/[info]lee_west on IJ) Claustrophobic!Percy + Sexy-as-hell!Kingsley (is there any other sort of Kingsley?) + malfunctioning Ministry lift = HOTNESS. Serious goddamn hotness! Kingsley is so cool and Percy is so adorably frightened and I love Kingsley's sexy pants and there is RIMMING, people, which you ALL should be writing MORE of, and I am sad I missed this when it was originally posted at [info]hp_valensmut becaus it's awesome!

CAPSLOCKY REC FIVE. Never A Better Time (Remus/Peter, sort of, PG, by [info]westernredcedar. You guys. I don't ever read Peter but as I said I was all over the awesome fic tonight and this? WAS AWESOME. I love this little glimpse of pre-Deatheaters!Peter and his wistfulness and his nervousness and his sweet little hand and oh, he breaks my heart here, and Remus is lovely too, all clueless and caring and sweet, and mmm. Give it a go even if you're not fond of Peter because it's so lovely.

THUS ENDETH MY CAPSLOCKY, PROBABLY TYPO-FILLED, AND SPASTIC RECS POST FOR THE MOMENT. I AM OFF TO READ MORE FIC YAY YAY YAY YAY YAY.

YOU KNOW YOU ARE GLAD TO HAVE ME BACK, INTERNETS! ♥
